Rose Reilly portrait

My portrait of legendary Scottish footballer Rose Reilly is highlighted this month on the Sporting Heritage website and Sporting Heritage podcast. Sporting Heritage aims to "bring together the UK's sporting collections and the people who care for them."

My portrait of Rose, which was acquired last year and now hangs on display in the Scottish National Portrait Gallery of the National Galleries of Scotland, is discussed in this podcast by Professor Fiona Skillen, Professor in History at Glasgow Caledonian University, and Imogen Gibbon, Deputy Director & Chief Curator from the National Galleries of Scotland.

There are two podcasts to listen to, and in one you can hear footballer Rose Reilly talk of the portrait and also of her incredible story and career.

There's also a little essay by myself recollecting the day I went to me and photograph Rose on a commission for a UK newspaper.

Take a look and listen, let me know what you think of the portrait and of Rose's incredible career.

Thanks,

Jeremy
